What Is Coeliac Disease?

Some of you may be thinking, what is coeliac disease because you have no idea what it is. This is what coeliac disease is: Coeliac disease is a medical condition where the small intestine is unable to process food containing wheat rye, barley and oats. All together, these foods are called gluten. Coeliac disease is a condition that is with you your whole life. Some of the foods that replace gluten include:

  • corn
  • rice
  • nuts
  • vegetables
  • fruits
  • potatoes
  • fresh meat
  • fish
  • most dairy products
    plus much more.
